Program Manager (RENO)

Program Manager for CNS/ATM business area will be responsible for managing all phases of DOD and commercial engineering programs to include meeting cost, schedule, and performance goals. Strong experience working in military and/or civil aviation avionics in a technical and/or program management role is required. Understanding of avionics development, qualification, and certification within the FAA environment is desired.

Bachelor degree in Engineering/Business Management with at least 5 years experience or at least 10 years related field experience in DOD Program.

Management:
· Knowledge in one or more of the following areas:  Air Traffic Control systems, GPS, Imaging systems, and Radar systems.
· Working knowledge of EVMS, program scheduling and budget management.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including presentation and technical writing capabilities
· Excellent motivator and team builder experienced in leading an independent group at a remote location; comfortable and adept at supervisory overview role.
· General computer literacy skills including working experience with MS Office tools.

Preferred:
· Masters Degree in a technical field with at least 5 years experience in DOD Program Management
· Proven leadership in team building and successful customer interface development
· Experience in the competitive DOD contract environment with knowledge of Defense Acquisition practices and program planning
· Proposal development and management expertise
