Program Manager (SY)

Thales is a leading international manufacturer of in-flight entertainment systems for both Boeing and Airbus commercial aircraft. The company is known for its technical innovation, quality service and commitment to customers and employees. In 2003, Thales introduced to world airlines its new digital IFE system called TopSeries. This product and comprehensive support package has put the company into a high growth, strong competitive position. By 2007, Thales expects to captures 50% of the available IFE market.

 

Program Manager (SY)

 

-Will manage the program assignment to execute to Thales commitments in a professional and profitable manner.

-Must be able to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through a strong business relationship and trust through the lifecycle of the program.

-Will ensure that the program schedule and cost performance is monitored and documented through the MAP process with internal reviews.

-Will be responsible for establishing the product definition (BOM), risk management and cost management.

 

Position requirements:

-Bachelors degree required (technical discipline is preferred).  MBA/Master's degree desired.

-10+ years experience as a program manager required (preferably aerospace related industry).

-Fluency in a second language is preferred but not required, to support customer accounts in the Asia Pacific Region.

-International and domestic travel is required.

-Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced customer oriented environment with daily decision making and action required.  Ability to assess critical problems, establish facts and work with a team to implement effective solutions and follow-up.
