Customers include the worlds militaries as well as system integrators. Sensis currently has an opening for a Program Manager in our Reston, VA office location. Sensis, Seagull Tech Center (STC) has an established reputation of excellence as a leading provider of innovative research and development, including prototype field testing, in the area of aviation transportation for agencies such as NASA, FAA & DOD.As a Program Manager, you will have an engineering foundation coupled with successful research program management experience. You will be responsible for executing programs within the program budget and schedule and leading a highly skilled, creative, engineering team and multiple subcontractors. Excellence in communications and team leadership are expected. Responsibilities: Managing, monitoring and reporting progress from cost, schedule and technical performance viewpoints. Interfacing with customers and collaborating with a variety of functional areas in order to deliver program results that are responsive to the customers' needs. Determining manpower needs, creating budgets, scheduling and assigning workHiring, motivating, and managing a team of highly talented engineers & subcontractors. Leading the development of robust engineering processes Qualifications:Advanced degree in Engineering/Science Minimum 7-10 years project management / engineering experienceRequired Skills:Excellent oral and written communication skills for delivery of high quality project deliverables, top quality presentations & winning proposals, as well as interfacing with team members, management, the customer and industry professionals.Ability to lead a team to achieve project milestones that meet technical requirements on schedule while minimizing cost yet delivering high quality projects with great customer satisfaction.
