Essential Functions: Manage world-wide customer implementation projects by effectively planning, scheduling, controlling, and bringing to closure multiple, small to large, high profile projects. Create and maintain a project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring: overall project timeline, project milestones, tasks, deliverables, customer requirements, task dependencies, and critical paths. Provides leadership, direction and integrates activities with other departments, Boeing and Jeppesen vendors and partners to ensure successful implementation and support. Anticipate and identifies Risks and Issues that may impact implementation and develops and implements mitigation and corrective actions. Monitors and reports on the status of project efforts through integrator status meetings and project schedule internal postingsEnsures the project remains focused on key objectives and goals.  Develop and manage project expectations ensuring all applicable functional areas in Jeppesen are engaged on the project.Establish positive relationships and effectively manage customer expectations throughout the duration of the projectMust be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.

 

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  Minimum of four (4) years project management, release management, operations, installation or deployment experience.  Minimum of three (3) years experience in managing and developing by process. Minimum of four (4) years customer facing experience.  Must work effectively in a variety of cultural environments. 

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

 Ability to troubleshoot issues for resolution or escalationExtensive experience in meeting planning and facilitationProficient with Microsoft Office applications, Milestones or primavera experience a plusOperate independently with minimal guidance by management.Self-directedStrong Problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks.Ability to step into projects already in progress.
