Job Title:  Program Planner

 

Summary
MicroSat Systems, Inc. is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and dedicated Program Planner and configuration Manager to design, build, test and operate a constellation of commercial satellites.

 

As the Program Planner, the candidate will collaborate closely with the engineering team to define, link and status the program tasks in an integrated program schedule using planning software.

 

The Planner will work independently to monitor and publish weekly schedule updates and notify the program manager of pending problems.

 

The Planner will also collect Earned value information from program participants and generate summary reports and presentations.

 

As a configuration Manager, the Planner will create and maintain, on a daily basis, a database of the characteristics of each of multiple spacecraft during manufacturing, integration and test and mission operations.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Required is a related Bachelor’s degree.

Five years of similar experience is required.

Must be an advanced user of Microsoft project software.

Must have knowledge of Earned Value methods.

Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.

Must have good interpersonal skills to collaborate closely and frequently with the program staff.

Familiarity with the design and manufacture of spacecraft is desired.

Familiarity with database software, such as Microsoft Excel or Access, is desired.

 





US citizenship or US permanent resident status is required.
