Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Job Requisition Number: Q10876 The Project Control Analyst position participates in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk. Involves significant interaction with Project Managers, Contracts personnel, senior technical personnel, and other functional or support organizations. Implements financial policies and procedures in support of projects. Establishes and maintains cost/schedule baselines, may develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBSs) and related dictionaries, may develop project schedules or Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs) and Budgets, and possesses a complete understanding of related financial policies. Develops and maintains Estimates at Completion (EACs) for projects. Understands schedule critical path and performs related analyses. May implement Earned Value methodologies and perform related variance analyses. May provide schedule and RLN support for new business proposal development, providing input to the Management and Cost volumes of the proposal. Provides data and reporting formats for all types and levels of program reviews. Prepares written and verbal reports to management regarding cost and schedule variances. Contributes to the development of the organization's goals and objectives. May determine methods and procedures to be used on new assignments and may supervise or provide guidance to other personnel. Frequently interacts with outside customers and functional peer groups. This position requires a comprehensive knowledge of this field and the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments. Should have a basic understanding of multiple contract types:Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive (FPI), Fixed Price Level of Effort (FPLOE), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and hybrid contracts. Must Have the Following: U.S. Citizen Software: Requires word processing, electronic spreadsheet. Project Management software. Educational: 11+ Years with HS or 7+ Years with AA or 5+ Years with BS or 2+ Years with MS or 0+ Years with PhD. Functional: Minimum five (5) years related experience. Comprehends and communicates complex financial or technical information at a level to solicit or explain it. Able to communicate this information both verbally and through written correspondence and reports.Prefer to Have the Following: Software: Deltek, Costpoint.
