Project Engineer - Electrical / Mechanical

McGowan Consulting Group, Inc. provides embedded systems development services. In particular we specialize in the development of embedded analog, digital and communications hardware as well as real-time embedded software, operating system software and C/C++, assembly and Ada based solutions for aerospace, telecommunications and avionics applications.

Our project engineers support product development from concept through production. Our capabilities include high-speed digital design, analog design, FPGA and custom ASIC design.

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage/coordinate all communication and activities required to ensure that the hardware meets requirements and is delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Administer the tasks required to achieve Program goals.
- General understanding of Cost Account Management and Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
- Experience with MS Office Products (Project, Excel, Word)
- Ability to manage and communicate in an Integrated Product Team environment.
- Flexibility to travel.


B.S. in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)

Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
