Project Management Specialist

3-Month Contract

JOB DUTIES: Leads others and directs all phases of assigned projects
demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas as described
by industry standards. Acts as primary customer contact for assigned
cross organizational or business unit projects. Identifies key
stakeholder project objectives and requirements. Ensures assigned
individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and
providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan. Develops a
project plan and deliverables that meet identified requirements by
application of or in accordance with accepted Project Management
principles (Project Management Body of Knowledge[PMBOK]). Act as company
subject matter expert and develops business units and/or cross business
unit level project plans and creates new processes for enterprise
application. Ensures project objectives and deliverables are being
addressed. Provides understanding and direction to the compilation and
assembly of status and progress reports. Assembles recommendations from
project team concerning work-arounds, recovery plans, work scope
changes, etc. Formulates presentations and presents project status to
steering committee, senior management, project sponsor and/or other
stakeholders to keep them informed of progress and changes to project.
Negotiates with project stakeholders at all levels across a broad
spectrum of significant project issues. Facilitates or leads others in
facilitating negotiations involving major project parameters such as
deliverable

JOB SKILLS: Bachelor's degree and 10 to 14 years' related work
experience, a Master's degree and 8 to 12 years' related work experience
or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
