Job Category: IT/Software Development Job Requisition Number: Q10816 Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Participates in developing Work Breakdown Structure. Responsible for developing Integrated CPM schedule which shows the sequence of events compatible with Work Breakdown Structure. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients. Integral in Risk and Opportunity management as it pertains to the project scope and milestones. Must Have the Following: US Citizen. MS Project, MS Office Suite. BS in Business, Accounting, Information Management or comparable and at least 8 years of related experience. Prepares, directs, and maintains complex plans for activities of a highly technical nature such as program master plan and the program network. Directs team with WBS, WBS dictionaries, activity list, schedules, resources loading, reporting on EVM, SPI, CPI for all projects. Interfaces with all functions at all levels in creation and of schedule data including activity status gathering in status meetings. Evaluates status and reports the problem areas to supervisor, management and customer considering trends and giving recommendations for corrective actions. Reviews and evaluates current scheduling methodology on a continual basis. Performs varied program planning, scheduling and monitoring of projects and proposals. Assist in the analysis of cost and schedule data to provide courses of action that will allow the Project Manager to make timely decisions that will positively affect the project s profitability and the client s satisfaction. Prefer to Have the Following: COBRA, MS Project Professional / Server.
