QA Engineer

Maintain awareness of each Receiving Inspector’s ability to perform tasks. Pro-actively seek process improvements to current receiving inspections. Participate on the Material Review Board, identify problems and offer timely resolution. Recommend improvements to Receiving Inspection process to preclude Quality errors. Make recommendations to Management regarding changes that may not conform to Quality standards. Perform trending and analysis inclusive of weekly metrics of non-conformance reports and corrective notices. Identify and document and control scrap metals. Provide guidance to less experienced personnel Minimum Requirements: B.S. degree or the equivalent in Engineering, Industrial Technology or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of Quality Assurance experience with 5-7 strongly preferred.
