QUALITY CONTRL ENGINEER

ITT's Quality Assurance team is looking for a results oriented individual with effective communication skills who works well with others to evaluate and assess moderately complex in-house equipment or at a Supplier's facility in support of the Electronic Warfare Systems business area's products. Administers and implements quality programs for assigned group of projects to insure maintenance of consistent quality standards for Product Line items. Develop systems and procedures to meet particular project requirements and develop quality data through standard techniques. Audit and evaluate products and processes involved in manufacturing these products to insure that all items are produced in conformance with established quality standards, engineering drawings, and customers' requirements. Maintain liaison with customers' quality personnel. B.S. in Engineering [Electrical/Electronic preferred].Four or more years of quality control experience, or ASQC Quality Engineer certification and five years of related Product Assurance experience. Thorough knowledge of the quality control field, electronics, and inspection, test, and statistical control methods. Knowledge of Workmanship Requirements per J-STD-001/IPC 610.Knowledge of applicable relevant specifications. Must have the ability to plan, develop, and implement procedures to meet project requirements. Knowledge of database, spreadsheet, and word processing software. Written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under frequently changing priorities.
