Quality Control Manager

Responsible for the repair station inspection system, inspection personnel, technical data, manual revision & control for Repair Station Documents, test equipment and tool calibration, and surveillance as outlined in the Quality Control Manual.    The primary contract with the FAA CHDO and other federal officials as required by the accountable manager. Supervise, direct, and assist inspection personnel Approve articles for return to service after maintenance; preventive maintenance or alteration has been performed. Insure that all inspections are properly performed on completed work and that all records required for the work are properly completed prior to approving the maintenance, preventative maintenance or alteration for return to service. Thoroughly familiar with the requirements of the Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, Training Manual, applicable airworthiness directives, applicable FAA approved and/or acceptable data, and any applicable manufacturer’s specification and recommendations.



Job Requirements:

  Minimum 10 years hands-on quality control inspector on wide body jets in a Part 145 Repair Station. FAA and A&P License required, IA License is a plus. Must understand FAA FARS and be able to read engineering prints and schematics. Working knowledge of GACA regulations and requirements are a plus.
