Quality Engineer (A0411)

Quality Engineer (A0411) This position is responsible for identifying opportunities that will benefit A&T and manufacturing in terms of design optimization and product variation assessments in an environment with electronic focus. Technical leadership with respect to electronic design and production maintaining integrity of product design and control. Requires identifying areas for improvement in product manufacturability and initiate necessary changes to incorporate them. Experience developing methods for inspection, testing, sampling and training working in a shared environment devising new solutions for design and manufacturing problems. Evaluate production capability and recommend improvements. A BSEE degree Eight years experience with demonstrated knowledge of electronic systems and a depth of understanding achieved through experience in the design, manufacturing and / or assembly of control boxes, power supplies and related products for aerospace application is highly desired.  Background in statistical methods preferred.
