Honeywell currently has an exciting and challenging Quality Engineering Manager position available in the Test and Measurement facility located in Columbus, OH.The successful candidate will be responsible for: Responsibilities:•Respond to any customer quality concerns, including customer communication, customer quality performance tracking, containment, and corrective and preventive actions. •Quality direction and leadership to the Columbus Staff, including the Site Leader. •Direct Quality department professionals and provide solid leadership to that group•Manage shop floor deployment of quality policies, procedures, controls, practices, training, and auditing in a Honeywell Operating System Environment (HOS). •Analyze quality data collected by various groups within the organization and identify those areas whose quality levels are below standard; engage resources to correct problem and begin corrective action process. •Provide leadership that will assure that all operational objectives in the annual plan (AOP) are achieved. •Exploit opportunities for process improvements and support Six Sigma/Lean initiatives. •Provide leadership relative to the Quality System Standard ISO 9001Basic Qualifications:Four year engineering degree required; MS/MBA a plus 5 to 10 years experience in the Aerospace industry. Quality leadership experience in a discrete component-to- product, ISO registered manufacturing environment. Customer interface experience related to quality issue problem solving. System Design and Implementation. Sigma/Black Belt Certification a plus.
