Quality Manager #08066

Moog’s Industrial Controls Division is currently searching for a Quality Manager #08066.Duties/Responsibilities: The position is responsible to provide leadership in the development and adherence to strategic business processes. The incumbent reports to the Site Manager and is expected to manage the Quality role in all Industrial Controls sites in the Americas. This position is a consultancy and facilitation with functional managers to develop business systems and procedures that meet the needs of the organization and to ensure those systems and procedures are followed. A key role is ensure the core Moog Culture / Philosophy is communicated and practice the entire organization. In  addition, this position is responsible to develop and manage a techinical staff having the leadership skills and competencies necessary to assure the organization of the adherance and effectiveness of the business processes that are in place.Education/Experience: A candidate for this position should have a Bachelors of Science Degree in a Technical field and a MBA would be preferred. A minimum of 10 years experience in business management having at least 5 years managing Quality in required.Skills/Knowledge:The position requires the skills and knowledge to understand the products, customers, supply chain and Strategic plans of the organization to provide effective leadership.  Management skills are required to recruit, develop and manage a diverse technical group.  Good relation skills and motivation skills are required to encourage and motivate people who do not work directly for you.Travel:This position requires domestic and international travel.Citizenship Requirements: Due to U.S. Government and Military contracts, candidates must be either a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
