Quality Operations Manager

Job Category: Quality Assurance/Safety Reference Code: 4524~497081 This position is responsible for Quality Operations at the Utah Division. Ensures compliance with quality policies, instructions, procedures and contractual requirements. Works closely with customer quality representative in providing a high quality product. Provides managerial oversight for the Quality Engineers. Provide guidance and support for the annual ISO audit. 50% Customer Interface to assure compliance with the customers Product Assurance Requirements, resolve product discrepancies, and manage customer interaction with Aerojet suppliers. 30% Manage supplier product acceptance and support MRB activities. 10% Provide managerial oversight of Quality Engineers. 10% Participate in and provide oversight of both internal and supplier audits. Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent education/experience)plus 9 years of related experience with technical background in defense systems. Requires U.S. Citizenship.
