We injection mold engineering grade resins and machine the molded parts to tight tolerances using CNC milling and CNC turning centers. We need a talented individual to fill the role of Quality Assurance Technician for Tri-Mack Plastics. In this position, you will inspect and document incoming material,perform detailed 1st piece inspections, and perform final inspections. You will use standard measurement tools such as micrometer, calipers, height gages, and optical comparitor. You may also use a CMM and Vision system to verify parts. Solid print interpetation skills are ecential. Inspectors work side by side with operators and engineerers to ensure parts remain in specification. This takes a real team effort.

Qualifications


Experience documenting inspections in Excel and computer based SPC data collection systems.

Easily analyzes and prioritizes information, distilling it to the critical issues and determining part conformance to prints and specifications.

Manages complexities and competing priorities. Is able to handle the demands of customers, engineers, sales reps, and production operators all with differing agendas.

Working knowledge of injection molding and machining methods, procedures, and cost-reduction techniques.

Understands technical issues and can leverage previous technical experience to solve technical problems.

Must be willing to work as a member of a team in a proffesional manner.

Has extensive experience with manual micrometers, calipers and optical comparitors. Must be comfortable with all aspects of print interpretation.

Experience developing and implementing process improvement initiatives.

High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
