RF Engineering Technician

Description
The RF Technician responsibilities include:

Test, troubleshoot and tuning of RF Equipment.
Builds RF functional test fixtures for models and high volume production.
RF circuit development-plan and execute unit level performance validation tests both manual and automated; analyze data, trouble shoot defects.
Supports and assists engineers in writing operating procedures for production associates.
Developing tuning specifications and procedures for RF filter products.
Supports manufacturers, on-site if required, to train and debug hardware, tuning and testing issues.
Assist engineers in writing troubleshooting guides for manufacturing facilities.
Identifies product assembly issues to assist in continually improving product cost, quality, interval and throughput through the prototyping and manufacturing processes by working closely with the Product Engineer.
Assist engineers with training of production associates for high volume production
Responsible for tracking, repair, & update of hardware due to design changes.
Participates in document and design reviews
Works closely with Manufacturing & Engineering to develop test process and fixtures. 

Requirements
Qualifications:
AS degree in engineering plus a minimum of 7 years experience in the Electronics industry with RF focus
10+ years of professional experience with at least three in a manufacturing environment
Solid knowledge of manufacturing functional testing equipment - network analyzers, O-Scopes, BERT, signal generators etc.
In depth understanding of high power RF filter products as well as power amplifier products
Proven data acquisition skills
Familiarity with RF and digital hardware setups
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
