RF Test Technicians, Satellites

TRICAD, a leading engineering services company, is seeking RF Test Technicians to work for an exciting satellite communications company.  These are contract positions available immediately. 



The ideal candidate will set up, and calibrate standard and complex test apparatus or devices, test equipment to conduct, functional, operational, environmental and life tests to evaluate performance reliability of prototype and/or production model satellites per the applicable test procedure.

Other functions of the job: 

Perform spacecraft performance testing of complex communication, telemetry and command, thermal, power, propulsion, and attitude control subsystems per the applicable test procedure. Apply power and configure the spacecraft per the applicable test procedure. 

Perform detailed RF test measurements such as gain transfer, frequency response, spurious search, n oise figure, modulation index, insertion loss, etc

Understand the operation of various types of test equipment such as O-Scopes, spectrum and network analyzers

Operate spacecraft consoles such as the payload and electrical test racks per the applicable test procedure

Determine method and sequence of operations to test complex components and systems in conformance with published test procedures.

Analyze and interpret electrical and RF test data. Provide diagnostic malfunction and offer test result feedback to vehicle and system engineers.

Requirements: High school+ 5 years of technical experience. Prefer AS degree.
