Reliability Engineer- Maumelle, AR- 041801

My client provides application-based solutions to military, space, range tracking, and scientific program needs for motion control components and sub-systems. They are committed to providing the best value to their customers. Reliability Engineer II – Maumelle, AR- 041801 Summary: Under limited supervision, performs moderately complex assignments to perform reliability analyses such as reliability predictions per MIL-HDBK-217 or Telcordia, FMECA, Worst Case Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and Reliability Assessment. Prefer candidate with experience in EEE part selection and qualification for military and space applications. Familiarity with Relex software a plus.  Familiarity with radiation survivability analysis a plus.  Will interface with program design engineers.  In early phase of program, will assist in part selection and qualification; in later phases with mathematical analysis and failure analysis.  Candidate will be familiar with implementing and using closed loop failure reporting, analysis, and corrective action programs. As required, will support manufacturing and engineering in testing required to resolve reliability issues.  As required, will interface with customer reviews to present results. May be required to provide work leadership and/or training to lower level professional employees. Candidate will be expected to perform in accordance with company policy and procedures, and to exercise professional ethical behavior. Requirements: Minimum requirements are a BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 2 to 4 years experience in aerospace, telcom, or military reliability engineering Other degrees such as Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics may be considered if the candidate can demonstrate the requisite knowledge of electrical circuits.
