Repair Development Engineer

Responsible for product development and product engineering activities to include, creating, documenting, developing, and implementing processes and procedures used to disassemble/assemble, repair, process, test and/or manufacture products.

Perform repair development engineering and product support activities as directed.

Requires working in a team environment with other departments such as Production Engineering, Toolmakers, Quality, Operations, Purchasing and Customer Service.

Requires working with external customers and suppliers dependent upon project and program activities.

Prepares quotations, repair proposals and reports both internal and external.

Improving overall processes and related issues including process development, scheduling, creating process documentation, product assembly, and production processing, problem solving, and program management.

Other duties include the design, installation, and debug of tooling and capital equipment.

Also responsible for following quality systems procedures, as required.

Should have a four year engineering degree or a minimum of 5 years related technical experience.

Experience in product/process development/repair of turbine engine components.

Must be proficient with PC and Microsoft applications including MS Word and Excel.

Must be proficient with CAD applications, preferably AutoCAD.

Ability to multitask is a must.
