Repair Engineer

Develop, document, substantiate, and implement component repair schemes for gas turbine products.
Perform product program support as it relates to Component Repair Services assigned repair development activities.
Interface with commercial, military and repair vendors as it relates to engine and component repair.
Review and approve developed component repair schemes.
Coordinate the exchange of technical data inside and outside of Rolls-Royce from conception to release.
Provide technical/engineering support for engine shop activities, such as material disposition, repair development and process instruction development.
Coordinate the development and support of a Component Repair Plan for various product lines.
Monitor repair related budgets, and program schedules.
Perform special assignments regarding new programs as it relates to goals and objectives for Component Repair Services and ultimately Customer Services.
B.S. Engineering or Technical degree and at least 5 yrs equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of gas turbine engines.
Demonstrated ability to work with customers and suppliers.
Demonstrated written/oral communication and report generation.
Demonstrated high level of integrity and trustworthiness.
Ability to analyze problems and make timely, quality decisions.

Preferred:
Familiarity with program budgets and other project/contractual operations.
Demonstrated ability to audit vendors to technical process capabilities.
Knowledge of engine maintenance activities and repair technology special processes.
Previous experience in either an aftermarket or service role.
Hands on experience with engine or aircraft maintenance.
Ability to travel internationally.
Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and people management skills.
