Job Description: The Rotational Engineering Leadership Development Program (RELDP) is an intensive two-year development process reserved for new graduate engineers who are academically successful and who have exhibited leadership skills throughout their college career. Raytheon offers the RELDP for multi-disciplined engineers with advanced degrees who elect to pursue an accelerated technical career. Special emphasis is placed upon rotations at different Raytheon sites around the country. In particular, the RELDP is reserved for new hires and requires a commitment to move three times during the two-year program. The first rotation would be within Software Engineering where responsibilities include software development for large scale international or domestic software-intensive systems. Candidate must be able to conduct development activities in a highly interactive team environment. Candidate may have the opportunity to use the latest Java and web technology and apply it to existing software. Related experience includes object oriented requirements analysis and design. Candidates are expected to play a key role in the development by participating in design, code, integration, and test reviews. Must be capable of performing with minimal direction and be able to interface with customers as needed.
