(S-PIP) Wheeled Vehicles Mobility Analyst

Description of Work: This position reports to the Stryker Systems Design & Integration Section Manager within the Wheeled Systems Engineering Organization. The function of System Engineering Mobility Analyst will monitor and track decisions made by individual working groups in order to understand the impacts to overall vehicle mobility characteristics. This person will interface between the working groups, SEIWG and Chief Engineer and will provide technical expertise on mobility performance to the SEIWG. He will work closely with the Modeling and Simulation group to understand and provide input and direction to the Analysis performed. In addition, this person will work cooperatively with London to share information and analysis regarding mobility subsystems.In addition to supporting the technical development of the Wheeled System related programs, the position shall work closely with the Lead System Engineer (NBCRV LSE), the Wheeled Vehicle functional Section Managers and the Sub-System IPT's Leads to facilitate a design solution that optimizes performance and commonality. This position shall support process tailoring and compliance for all Wheeled Systems Engineering tasks. This position shall attend regular coordination meetings with the IPT Leads, and shall support technical direction of the Wheeled Vehicle programs. In addition, this position will aid in schedule performance, contract deliverables, planning and scheduling, and performance compliance.Job Requirements: Candidate shall have a BS in engineering. A minimum of five (5) years applicable Program Management and/or Engineering Management experience is desired. Extensive engineering experience encompassing Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Vetronics Hardware/Software are desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a necessity. Must be able to work in both office and laboratory environment.
