SENIOR AVIONICS HARDWARE ENGINEER

As part of our continuing commitment to support NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) projects, we are currently seeking an experienced SENIOR AVIONICS HARDWARE ENGINEER. This position will support hardware requirements for the development and production of avionics hardware components required for a major space flight launch vehicle.

 

Principal Duties:Support requirements generation for developmental and production hardware for Avionics Hardware Components. Conduct trade studies, generate requirements, and evaluate hardware designs in one or more of the following subsystems:

· Command and Data Handling (C&DH)

· Electrical Power Systems (EPS)

· Radio Frequency (RF) communications (S-Band)

 

Required Qualifications/Experience:BS degree in Engineering, Math, Physics or related field with 15 years experience or 10 years experience with a MS or Phd in Engineering, Math, Physics or related field.Experience with and a comprehensive understanding of avionics architectures for manned space flight systems is highly desired. Ability to share expertise with others in a team environment to implement assignments within required schedules is highly desired. Proven experience preserving Sensitive But Unclassified (SBU) information.
