POSITION:  SENIOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST  - Information Assurance (IA)

 

SECURITY CLEARANCE/LEVEL REQUIRED:
Current Secret clearance mandatory; Top Secret eligibility desirable.

PRIMARY FUNCTION(S):
Provides project management oversight of Contractor Information Assurance (IA) activities, to include IA Certification and Accreditation (C&A), for the Ground Infrastructure Division. Provide general acquisition security management support for installations at Air Force Bases world wide. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

..Performs hands-on execution of Information Assurance (IA)projects and make measurable progress toward achieving program goals.

..Provides project management support to multiple assigned IA site development efforts; to include requirements definition and analysis; site survey and design; installation and checkout of IA installations at AF bases worldwide.

..Serves as needed as lead for assigned installation sites, providing support such as; assist in completing Project support agreement (PSA) activities; planning and witnessing as needed site acceptance testing; assist as needed in resolving any pre- and post-installation issues.

..Serves in a leading or supporting role in communicating technical or programmatic information with customer and integrating contractor.

..Fosters teamwork, unity, and cooperative work relationships with geographically separated stakeholder organizations.

..Facilitates IA meetings and reviews, team building, strategic planning, and other on- and off-site activities.

..Assists as needed in preparing documentation for Requests for Proposal (RFP’s) and assist in source selections for IA related efforts

..Ensures all development efforts are in compliance with applicable IA policies, procedures, and standards. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree Requirements: Bachelors Degree. Masters desired

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired

CISSP, CISP, or CISM major plus

 

Relevant Experience:

..Twelve years experience on DoD and Air Force acquisition programs, with extensive experience with DIACAP.

..Management experience with information technology systems, and familiarity with DoD acquisition, activities and processes.

Complete understanding policies, procedures, and standards of DoD acquisition security management with hands-on acquisition experience.

..Working knowledge of related disciplines in Systems Program Office environment.

..Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and direction, to identify key objectives and priorities, to define scope, plan of action, resources, and capability to achieve mission requirements.

..Must have strong analytical and communication skills, a positive attitude, ability to work well with others and flexibility to changing workloads.

..Self motivated. Ability to work with minimum supervision.


ADDITIONAL INFO:
Position Location: Hanscom AFB. Bedford MA
Travel: Approx 24 – 40%. 1-2 trips per month of 3-5 days duration CONUS. Some travel of longer duration to major worldwide sites may be required.
