SENIOR QUALITY ENGINEER - SIX SIGMA BLACK BELT

An amazing opportunity is immediately available for a Senior Quality Engineer holding a Six Sigma Belt Belt.  (and uses this knowledge)

A subsidiary of a Fortune 500 company offering a stable environment and exciting work has a challenging KEY position available.  Aerospace / automotive experience preferred but more importantly, an extensive depth of quality knowledge and experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provides assistance to engineering and life cycle leadership in the preparation of technical proposals for products and services (GS only)
• Serves as a mentor / team lead to junior DQEs as assigned by leadership.
• Conducts / evaluates process and product quality audits to approved policies and methods while evaluating overall compliance and valuation of quality methods and standards.
• Works with engineering to establish the quality assurance aspects of new technologies and design processes.
• Assists in establishing quantitative measurements and techniques for measuring CEH (Complex Electronic Hardware) quality.
• Reviews and evaluates CEH products for adherence to applicable directives, standards and guidelines.
• Assists with the development and implementation quality plans and goals in support of CEH product developments.
• Ensures that product, process, and control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and / or contract.
• Using forward-looking methods (Acceptance Rate Projections, current mfg and field issues, BOM/Supplier Analysis, etc.), ensure producibility and quality risks are identified and mitigated.
• May have technical leadership of other CEH design quality engineers.
• Preparation of DQE bids based upon established method. Review engineering bids/design plans for its validity according to the internal procedures.
• Utilizes lean, six-sigma, and / or other tools to evaluate company's or supplier products and processes. Analyzes root causes of deficiencies and ensures proper corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.
• Provides guidance and assistance to  engineering, life cycle leadership, and support functions to assure product and process quality requirements flowdown.
• Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies procedures and methods related to the company's Quality Management System.
• May provide Material Review Board analysis and disposition of company's and/or supplier products
