SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - QUAGOVSESD0208

Gray Systems, Inc. is recruiting for a Software Developer, for a project we have in San Diego, CA.

This work requires a Top Secret clearance. As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for analysis, software design and software implementation of solutions based on CDMA technology.

 

Skills/Experience: Three to five years software design and development experience.

Requires familiarity with: C/C++/C# development (Assembly is a plus) and CDMA/UMTS, Must have experience with embedded software and a familiarity with real-time operating systems, past experience with wireless systems is a plus, past experience with software defined radios is a plus DSP experience is a plus

 

3-5 years of experience developing for Window Mobile phones, including WinMobile 5 (both Smartphone Edition and PocketPC Phone Edition).  WinMobile 6 highly desirable Experience with WM networking, C#/.NET Compact Edition, and UI development needed Experience with MAPI, telephony, GPS Intermediate Driver, and contact management APIs highly desirable

 

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must be a U.S. citizen and have held a Secret or Top Secret clearance in the past. This job will require an active TS/SCI clearance.


Work Items
 
There are three potential work items, to be performed in the specified order. Either party can terminate upon completion of a work item Consulting time – Work with Client to understand planned application, provide feedback on approach and pitfalls HLD – provide a written high level design proposal for the application, to address topics such as: Auto-launch of application Messaging approach (including potential use of MAPI) Mapping screens Networking Installation and distribution approach Implementation assistance

  Work with the clients’ team to implement the application targeting

 

Education:

 

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering, Master's degree in Computer Science/Electrical is a plus.
