THALES Avionics Inc, is a progressive company with a turnover of more than 100 MUSD, is part of the worldwide support network for Thales group and focuses on providing repair and distribution services to its customer base (commercial and regional airlines, business jet and helicopter owners.)

 

The STC Regional Manager is responsible for the development of the STC business in North America by supporting STC bids and managing STC projects. Candidate will act as the primary interface between all Thales supporting departments in USA and France during the certification program to ensure STC program readiness. Applicants will work in compliance with the Thales win bid process and support STC quotes along with supporting technical data; drive STC programs in the region; develop SOW; manage the program budget and ensure program deadlines are met. Candidates will be responsible for providing flight documentation and data packages for aircraft modification and certification as well as the coordination of the STC program internally with all Thales supporting departments.

 

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Avionics background preferred and 5+ years’ related experience in US STC / Certification. Program management knowledge and FAA (EASA) Certification requirements & organization are required. Candidates must have a demonstrated track record of effective cross-functional teamwork; excellent oral, written and presentation skills; and knowledge of computing solutions and operating systems. Cross-cultural, multinational, and French language experience is preferred.
