STEP UP AND BECOME A CONTROLLER!
OVERVIEW:
Responsible for all of the accounting and systems procedures for the various legal entities that make up a $370 million global manufacturing business.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure day to day activities are being completed in accordance with USGAAP for all of the legal entities.
Ensure that all monthly, quarterly and yearly income statement, capital employed, cash flow and all supporting schedules for the legal entities are completed in accordance with USGAAP.
Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly consolidated income statement, capital employed, cash flow and all supporting schedules for the legal entities to be completed in accordance with USGAAP.
Ensure all year end-auditing schedules are prepared for all of the legal entities, final review with auditors regarding audit.
For all of the legal entities insure that current procedures are reviewed and documented and adhered to both for actual activities as well as computer input both inside and outside the financial areas e.g. order taking, inventory control, invoice processing, outside warehousing, cash accounts.
Management of working capital – for all of the legal entities to insure the proper utilization of cash, A/R levels are kept current, A/P payments, inventory levels are monitored, capital expenditures are written up and adhere to corporate policy of spending and ROCE.
Responsible for implementing and maintaining departmental operating policies in accordance with company standards and all government regulations.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EXPERIENCE NEEDED
B.A. in Accounting
CPA A MUST
Pharmaceutical industry experience a plus
Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent in Finance preferred
Minimum 12 years of financial and accounting background.
- Solid knowledge of USGAAP., Consolidations
- Experienced in dealing in a global manufacturing company.
- Solid knowledge of business software applications - ie: A/P,
A/R, Inventory, Order Entry, Invoicing, Payroll, General Ledger and Financials.
-Ability to make timely decisions.
-Strong communication and organizational skills.
-Strong leadership skills.
- Must be willing to travel.
-Experience with JD Edwards ERP system desirable.
