Safety Manager

SAFETY MANAGER

Important multinational Airline is seeking a Safety Manager for its Cargo and Passenger business operations.

 

The main objective of this position is to lead the industrial and operational safety programs of the company.

 

Some of the duties of this person are:

- Maintain and review the established safety programs.

- OSHA and FAA compliance.

- Plan, schedule and deliver safety trainings to employees.

- Accident/incident prevention, job site visits, audits, reports.

- Accident investigations, worker’s comp management.

- Creation of team atmosphere with outsourced workforce to minimize accidents.

- Manage relations with key groups (subsidiaries, networks, organizations, etc.).

- Administration of contingency plans.

 

Requirements:

- Two or more years of experience in industrial and operational safety within the manufacturing, transportation, warehousing or distribution. Desirable: Airline industry.

- Bachelor in Industrial Engineering, or safety related majors a plus.

- Strong safety/OSHA background.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

- Bilingual: English and Spanish.
