 Job Title: Safety & Reliability Engineer  Job ID: 1222  Location: Minnesota-Plymouth  Company:  Alliant Techsystems Inc.  Here is an outstanding opportunity for a Sr. Reliability and Safety Engineer / Mission Assurance and a junior/intermediate level engineer, under the guidance of senior engineers, to join our group and participate in developing and managing the safety and reliability efforts on weapons development programs.  You will be designing safety and reliability into weapons systems and define reliability and safety requirements; Flow-down top-level requirements to functional elements; Model safety and reliability; Perform reliability predictions; Perform hazard analysis - Functional Hazard Analyses, Failure Mode Effects Criticality Analyses (FMECA), Fault Tree Analyses, Software Hazard Analyses; Statistical estimation - Determine required sample size.  Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability. New graduates and junior/intermediate electronics engineers with defense industry experience.
