Sales Manager (RSM) Thin Films

Natel Advanced Ceramics, a Division of Natel Engineering,—based in Southern California—develops and manufactures high-performance Thin-film, Thick-Film, Low Temp Co-Fired Ceramics (LTCC), and High Temp Co-Fired Ceramics (HTCC) products that set the standard for Military, Aerospace, and Medical  products that require high density of circuitry, ultra-high performance, and outstanding thermal management. Natel is a rapidly growing company, with expertise from Hybrid design and manufacturing, to full Military / Aerospace system manufacturing.

Position Description:

In support of its expanding business Natel is looking for a Sales Manager with expertise in the area of thin-film based sub-contract manufacturing and Thin-Film products.  The role requires a hands-on mentality along with the ability to fully manage the business development process as related to thin-film product family. The right candidate will have previous experience in all or some of the following areas:

Ø Thin-film Product and Process knowledge

Ø Development of Business Plans

o  Knowledge of Target Market, Target Specifications, and New Product Introduction (NPI) methods.

Ø Implementation and execution of New Product Plans in the Factory.

Ø Effective Customer communications to assist in the definition of products.

Ø A good understanding of product costing

Ø A working knowledge of Sales and Marketing functions

Background and Qualifications:

This position requires a 5+ active years of experience in the field, and a BS or MBA degree would be a plus.

Previous experience in Marketing, Sales, or New Product Development is expected.

Familiarity with Military / Aerospace and Medical customer requirements are a plus.

The position is based in Carlsbad, CA.  About halfway between the Southern California cities of San Diego and Los Angeles.
