Sales & Marketing Manager Skills Required: Sales, Marketing, Government, Military or Defense, Helicopter, Aerospace, Avionics, Lakota Program, Navair-Nav ICP,TopOwl Job Description: Sales and Marketing Manager for Government ProgramsAs Marketing & Sales Manager, you will manage the marketing and sales activities for governmental programs for HEL NA in line with best practices all to ensure customer satisfaction.Under the supervision of the Director for the Helicopter Solutions, the Marketing and Sales Manager for governmental programs commits to and realizes the order intake objectives for the governmental markets for which he or she is responsible under Helicopter Solutions North America. In application of the Win Bid process, drives the team effort to secure each single sales objective identified and targeted by HEL NA in this market sector. You will have the responsibility for certain key accounts for HEL in the North American market and will seek to maximize the position of in those key accounts for the portfolio.You will functionally coordinate closely within the BL HEL Marketing & Sales organization, including the sales support functions provided by BL HEL in other countries as appropriate.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:UH72A Lakota program • Lead and finalize the contractual negotiations with the customer (American Eurocopter). • Seek to grow the position on the Lakota program through a full understanding of the end customer requirements and opportunities to improve and extend the business case through post design studies and technology insertion into the program in close conjunction with BL HEL Marketing & Sales, Program Management, RTE (Research Technology & Engineering), Contract Management and Business Development. • With the Lakota program manager, the marketing and sales manager will ensure close meshing of the Lakota program into the broader Meghas® program as run by Helicopter Solutions BL in Europe for all Eurocopter applications under the blanket contract between and Eurocopter Group. • Participate and contribute to the Eurocopter key account team led by HEL France.H1 TopOwl® • Lead and finalize the order intake opportunities into Navair and Nav ICP for military customer support activities in close coordination with the H1 program management team and with BL MCS. • Seek out and maximize all opportunities in conjunction with the H1 program manager to secure post-design developments for production integration and in-service support business. • Ensure relevant contribution to the TopOwl® product roadmap insofar as the H1 version is relevant to and generates a meaningful revenue stream for .TopOwl® prospects • Lead the marketing and sales efforts to secure all new opportunities for TopOwl® into the North American market place. • Ensure relevant contribution to the TopOwl® roadmap insofar as the North American market constitutes probably the largest single contribution to the worldwide market opportunities for this product line.Additional duties and responsibilities • Contribute to the SBP1, SBP2 and Sitcom process in terms of objective setting. • Seek out and contribute to all other governmental market opportunities for BL HEL in North America and for the portfolio where appropriate. • Contribute to the account management process where applicable and as requested. • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through a strong business relationship and a climate of trust with both the direct customer and the end customer. • Conduct all business in an honest and transparent manner with high ethical standards. • Observe and apply the Win Bid process. • Contribute to the life of the HEL NA team in terms of information collection, interpretation and sharing all within the scope of, DAE, DAE North America and BL HEL. • Coordination is key with internal organizations, within the HEL Business Line (BL), Technical Business Units (TBU), Aerospace NA and all relevant support functions to understand and communicate customer requirements and execute the win bid process with efficiency, consistency and profitability. • Conduct regular customer team meetings to review all aspects of customer satisfaction and drive any and all corrective actions as may be identified and required with respect to the customers for which the employee has responsibility.What you need to be an ideal candidate: • Bachelor's degree in a marketing & sales discipline • Proven track record in marketing & sales • 5 years of experience as a minimum in the aerospace sector • Military and/or defense background • Proven experience in a team environment • Verbal and written communication skills are a basic requirementFor your hard work and dedication, you will earn a generous salary plus bonus along with a comprehensive benefit package.
