Satellite Engineering Data Professional

The position is for management of systems engineering and acquisition program documentation.

 

***Excellent Career Path.  Current Dept of Defense Top Secret SCI clearance mandatory.***

 

Professional will be responsible for: supporting an Air Force Wing acquisition team in development of documentation requirements for new contracts;  reviewing incoming program documents and distributing for action as required;  updating document repositories as well as action item databases; developing metrics to analyze document review cycles;  recommending systems engineering and acquisition documentation commensurate with the needs of emerging programs;  identifying and recommending process improvements related to documentation management; and supporting the Chief Engineer in configuration control board meetings and related engineering reviews.

 Required:  Three plus years in documentation management in a DoD environment.  Space systems acquisition program experience a plus.  Understanding of Data Item Descriptions and Contract Data Requirements Lists, helpful.  Associate’s degree, or higher, a strong plus.  Active Top Secret – SCI essential
