Security Technical Implementation Guide Tester

This position will provide Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Testing and DIACAP support.  This will include STIG verification on all applicable software residing on the workstations, laptops, or telecom equipment scheduled for Information Assurance (IA) accreditation and Interoperability (IO) certification at the GIG Network Test Facility (GNTF).  A comprehensive list of STIGs can be found at http://iase.disa.mil/stigs/index.html  The incumbent will also be responsible for beginning the DoD DIACAP scorecard.  Results of all STIG tests will be entered into the DIACAP database and findings tracked until resolved. Government will provide contact information for vendor and FSO personnel.  Personnel that support the STIG testing must be able to interface with JITC customers in a professional manner, document issues/findings in a report that includes Risk Assessment (High, Medium, or Low), Vulnerability Analysis, and Mitigation Strategy, and be able to intelligently discuss issues/findings with telecom vendors and government personnel.  Incumbent will be required to work as part of an integrated contract test team that will include test personnel from other government contractors.  Tester will work in a mixed team environment.
