Key Responsibilities:
Driving business alliances and opportunities for Omnitrol Networks products to drive revenue growth Managing strategic partners and alliances for all sales related activities
Grow with experience into becoming a recognized expert in the sensor and RFID market, develop as an industry thought leader, providing vision and leadership to our channel partners
Build multiple level in-depth relationships with assigned partner accounts (executive, sales, sales engineering, channels)
Support proposal bid/no-bid decisions, pricing decisions, competitive influences, and team member selection with assigned partner accounts
Establish an impactful “competitive watch” program, support and deliver competitive intelligence to the organization and keep appraised of latest developments
Develop proposals, presentations and competitive analysis for potential sales opportunities
Work with Marketing to drive market communications and demand creation programs, such as support for new initiatives at named accounts
Use local market intelligence and partner relationship to feed back trend and requirements to product management for product roadmap planning
Report business and opportunity status on a regular basis to corporate leadership
Requirements:
Minimum five (5) years experience in business development with a track record of successfully developing, managing and leveraging channel and technology partner relationships
Demonstrated knowledge of the manufacturing, logistics and supply-chain industries
To succeed in this position the candidate must have well-developed analytical abilities, high intellect and readily apparent good strategic judgment. Ability to interpret market issues into growth opportunities, translate strategies into commercial success. Process-oriented critical thinker with financial and business savvy
The candidate will have a balanced background in Business Strategy and Market Strategy development and implementation plus a broad tool set of classical strategic marketing skills, sales understanding of customer needs, and abilities to manage multiple projects
This candidate must have general leadership attributes, such as high integrity, verbal and written presentation skills, action oriented, global mind-set, outstanding influencing and negotiation skills
The candidate must have an entrepreneurial attitude with high energy, drive, passion, excellent people skills and the reputation for making things happen
Outstanding communication, presentation, organizational and negotiating skills
Knowledge of technologies, RFID, sensors and PLC controls in shop-floor operations, manufacturing automation, asset tracking software systems is a plus
Working Knowledge of MS Office based products, Salesforce.com and pricing spreadsheets for pipeline and opportunity tracking Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English Have the flexibility to travel at least 50% BA required, MBA preferred
