Senior Capture Manager

The Senior Capture Manager will have overall responsibility for winning specific new business opportunities. This position will function as the team leader for entire new business capture proposal effort. In a leadership role, the ideal candidate will manage competitive assessments, develop teaming and solutions strategies and deliver Serco messages to key customer stakeholders. This position will work closely with senior management to balance resource priorities to ensure continual, consistent progress through marketing, solutions, staffing, teaming and pricing elements of the capture plan. The ideal candidate should process all the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree, preferably in an IT or computer-related field or equivalent experience in area specialty. Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in formal business development and capture management roles within medium and large services organizations Proven track record in capturing major programs ($25M-$100M) and developing winning proposals. Background must include managing proposal activities using indirect and matrixed resources. Direct experience and proficiency in analyzing RFPs, opportunity synopses and SOWs Highly proficient in the federal government services procurement process and knowledgeable of federal procurement regulations. Demonstrated capability for solving problems with the company''s competitive positioning, analyzing opportunities and appropriately assessing their value to the company, evaluating solicitations, and appropriately defining resource requirements and budgets. Detail-oriented and meticulous, with proven organizational and multi-tasking skills. Strong work ethic, self-starter, able to work independently and with minimal supervision, and willing to take on challenges. Depth of experience with opportunities in DoD Logistics and DoD Engineering is a plus
