Senior Communications Representative

Senior Representative, Public Relations and Communications actively supports the development, execution and constant improvement of employee communications campaigns that promote information flow within Military Engines (ME).

Supports key events and processes and measures the effectiveness of its programs and products to support the ME organization.

The candidate must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently. Must have:
- Strong interpersonal and team skills
- Strong writing and communication skills
- The ability to multi-task and work well under deadline pressure.
- Experience and proficiency interacting one-on-one with senior executives


Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate and tailor employee communications activities to reach ME employees worldwide.
- Write, edit and distribute the ME electronic newsletter.
- Assist manager, ME Communications with internal communications planning in business focus, employee fulfillment events, and other initiatives as assigned.
- Highlight ME contributions and successes by the development and writing of stories in company-wide communications vehicles to support alignment with Roadmap goals and to improve employee engagement.
- Actively support and align ME communications with P&W policies, branding, advertising, standards, messages, and initiatives, using communications standard work.
- Provide key message support, and plan and execute internal communications meetings including All Hands, Management Team, skip level breakfasts and special ME employee fulfillment events.
- Assist in coordination and facilitation of Employee Fulfillment Committee meetings and action items.
- Develop and consistently execute a process to communicate regular news updates from field offices.
- Develop and consistently execute a process to communicate regular news updates on ME community involvement and volunteer opportunities.
- Identify, communicate and facilitate opportunities for employee involvement in community involvement activities.
- Establish and maintain a set of Intranet guidelines throughout the Military Engines organization.
- Actively represent ME on the P&W Employee Communications Team and support initiatives in support of Roadmap Goals.
- Help develop and implement yearly ME communications plans.
- Manage ME's L4 announcement communications process.
- Actively serve on ME's EH&S council and develop new communications processes for EH&S topics, risks, guidelines, etc.


- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism or related field preferred;

- Strong understanding of continuous improvement tools and methodologies a plus.



- Must have a minimum of five years communications experience, be a motivated self-starter with demonstrated communications, project management and writing skills.

- Experience with all forms of internal communications, electronic communications, and communications measurement.

- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required. Web content development/management experience and graphics capabilities a plus.



Position reports to Communications Manager, Military Engines.
