We are looking for a talented Configuration Management Analyst to join us at our dynamic 40 employee facility in Vernon, CA. Responsible for configuration management to include the release and control of all documentation (drawings, processes, specifications, etc.) and assisting as needed in the preparation of same within a development and production metal product manufacturing plant which is auditable under AS 9100. 40%-Processes and controls all changes to design disclosures either by way of Aerojet standards (drawings, S.O.P’s, specifications, etc.) or client documentation (drawings, contracts, etc.). 5% -Coordinates/ participates in physical and functional configuration audits. 5%- Prepares configuration management plans conforming to contract requirements. 10%-Participates in critical design reviews, data reviews and product reviews, in support of Project and/or Operations management. 20%- Provides technical writing, as needed, in support of Engineering departments. 20%-Provides reproduction and distribution for plant documentation. Bachelors degree in business and five (5) years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). English is required. The ability to speak, read, write and translate English/Spanish (including technically, drawing dimensionals and specifications) is a real plus.
