Moog’s Space and Defense Group is currently searching for a talented Senior Contract Administrator #08293.Duties/Responsibilities: The incumbent reports to the Manager of Contracts Administration and monitors all activities on assigned contracts. In absence of a Program Manager, the incumbent has all program responsibility from contract award to hardware delivery, including coordination of Moog departments to insure contract compliance. May assist teammates with contract interpretation, contract audits and company strategy. Assists Sales and Marketing with business forecasting and may administer foreign contracts.Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (Business Administration or a technical discipline), with a minimum of five years working experience in Sales, Contracts, Production Control or Engineering. Business or Contract Law courses highly desirable.Skills/Knowledge:Advanced knowledge of commercial and government contracts, Federal Acquisition Regulations, CAS, ITAR and MRP. Must be a leader with demonstrated strong motivational and organizational skills, well developed oral/written communication and negotiation skills.Other: Occasional travel (may be outside the U.S.). Ability to be highly productive on a variety of ongoing activities.Citizenship Requirements:Due to U.S. government and military contracts, candidates must be either a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
