Senior Designer (RENO)

The Designer will provide detail designs for individual piece parts, assemblies, wiring diagrams, ICD’s, and integration efforts. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Prepare concepts and detail designs in support of specific program tasks. Manufacturability including tolerance evaluation and best industry practice to reduce costs and schedule impact will be major considerations for all design efforts. The ability to "reverse engineer" an existing part or assembly. Prepare detailed drawings and documentation in support of specific designs and program tasks. Will work with Engineers in the design and documentation of SNC programs.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

Qualified individual should have 10 years of electromechanical design and drafting experience. 

Will have at least 5 years of experience in military contracting and working to MIL and ANSI specifications for both drafting criteria and documentation of design efforts. 

High school graduate with Associates Degree in Mechanical Design/Drafting or equivalent trade school training.


Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing required.
