Senior Electrical Engineer I - RF Design Team

LOCATION: FORT WAYNE, IN 46801 Raytheon seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer I to join our RF design team at the Network Centric Systems (NCS) operation located in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Creation of this position is contingent upon award of the AMF JTRS System Design and Development contract. The primary duties will be focused on tasks associated with Department of Defense communications systems. The candidate will be expected to apply his or her RF technical knowledge and experience in specifying, designing and testing UHF/VHF power amplifiers and other UHF/VHF circuitry. The Senior RF Engineer will work with a team of talented and experienced engineers in performing many core activities related to the development and testing of radio circuits and systems. Support for these activities may also include test fixture development, laboratory test setup, prototype circuit assembly and modification, results compilation, statistical evaluation, and trade studies. The candidate will be expected to provide creative and innovative solutions to problems and to ensure that tasks and projects are completed on schedule while following established procedures.
