Our Senior Financial Analyst role with BAE Systems Inc. reports to the Controller and will focus on the Finance department of the Land & Armaments Group.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, profitability analysis, pricing support, and coordination and analysis of financial statements. Generate various reports, schedules, key performance metrics and presentations.

1.Responsible for preparation of monthly reports including Hyperion reports, inter-company reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations and analysis.

2.Ensures that all documentation complies with company's regulations and professional standards. Responsible for the tracking and analysis of new rules and regulations related to financial reporting and consolidations.

3.Assists in the updating, monitoring, maintaining and complying with BAE controls and other regulatory requirements.

4.Assists Controller with special projects (program reviews, audits).

5.Responsible for other internal functions such as reconciliation of the production schedule

6.Designated as an IS/AS9100 internal auditor.

7.Assists with cost/pricing function of proposals as needed.

8.Backup responsibilities for Accounting Manager.

9.Recommends, implements and maintains process improvements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED):
->4 Year Accounting or Finance degree.
-> At least 3 years previous experience in financial reporting and analysis.
-> Advanced Excel skills.
-> Committed to comprehensive and in-depth analysis, planning and implementation of every work effort.
-> Solid analytical and technical accounting skills and exemplary organizational and communication skills.
-> Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED):
-> Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), working with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). Experienced with DAR/FAR government Regulations
-> Manufacturing experience.
