A Solutions, Integration and Deployment program requires a mid level Initiative lead to support system development projects for a Government customer. The candidate should possess the ability to manage the project through all phases of the development lifecycle. The candidate will be responsible to manage the project scope, schedule and resources and ensure the right balance is maintained. The candidate must be able to report on project status and deliverables to the program management and the government client, maintain project measures, and lead a team of matrixed staff. Candidate will work with a matrixed technical staff. Candidate will provide management and leadership for technologies used within the program including: Java, Struts, JSF, Sun Java ES5, Work Flow, and Sun Studio Creator. Candidate should also be familiar with Oracle, BEA Weblogic, XML, Java APIs, Web Services, Shell Scripting, Source forge, and other COTs products. Candidate should be capable of understanding design and implementation of technology and provide leadership and management of matrixed resources. Must Have the Following: US Citizen. MS Project, SW Life Cycle Exp. 8+ Years with BS or 6+ Years with MS. Combined experience in SW development, Team Lead, Project Manager. Candidate should be capable of understanding design and implementation of this technology and provide leadership and management of this type of team.Prefer to Have the Following: Sun. Java, Sun Studio Creator, Java ES5. PMP Certification.
