Senior Material Planner

Midcoast Aviation is currently looking for a Senior Material Planner to work at our Cahokia, IL (3 miles from downtown St. Louis, MO) facility.  The desired candidate will meet the following qualifications:



Description

The Senior Material Planner is responsible for ensuring material requirements are on-time and available for the production departments utilizing the requirements from the customer specification, master production schedule, engineering data / bills of materials, and the master inventory records. The Senior Material Planner must be able to evaluate engineering bills of material and execute inventory pick tickets and the requisitioning of the material requirements to support the production schedule with material budget requirements. Other duties may be assigned by management in order to meet department or business objectives on an as-needed basis.

 

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years material planning experience with solid understanding of a material requirements planning system. Ability to communicate effectively with peers and other department contacts in a professional manner. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software.
