Senior Network Engineer

Intergraph is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the Concepts and Operations for Space and Missile Defense Integration Capabilities (COSMIC) program, Joint Blue Force Situational Awareness task order based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This program is sponsored by the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC).

Individual will coordinate communications/network support with other government agencies, theater infrastructure and commercial service providers to enable architecture input and dissemination functions.

Augment the staff of the SMDC/ARSTRAT/CIO Automation Center to support MMC and MMCT network configuration requirements and requests, router configuration requirements and requests, firewall configuration requirements and requests.

Support the development, configuration and maintenance of IP networks and network routing in the MMC and MMCT.

Support the implementation, configuration, operation and maintenance of secure network communications solutions, including Virtual Private Networks.Setup, configure and maintain CISCO Routers and switches.Setup, configure and maintain network firewalls.

Understand and implement customer requirements in the ARSTRAT Automation Center, MMC, MMC-T and throughout the JBFSA architecture.

- Includes the integration of JBFSA devices and related communications systems, planning and establishment of secure, accredited data communications links with sources of JBFSA data and in the case of coalition data, the establishment of accredited coalition security enclaves within the MMCT and the MMC; the analyst and integration of native, system specific data formats into JMMO systems; and the implementation of blue force situational awareness data feeds to end users.

- Conduct systems integration efforts such as site surveys, develop drawings and installation documents, conduct installation reviews, coordinate purchases of equipment, coordinate network connectivity, install equipment, test equipment and document results.

- Develop a network plan and network management strategy, define and implement networking hardware based on customer requirements, develop a quality of service program with each data provider, support the transition of MMCT capability to the MMC and the operationalization of the capability in support of combatant commanders, NATO and other agencies.

- Support JMMO Integrated Development Change Control Process, Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Problem Report and Change Request Database. Provide inputs from CCB and accept and prosecute prioritized tasks from CCB.

Must have the following:

- CCIE - Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Or

- CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional And

-10 years experience in CISCO router basic configuration and operation

-Highly proficient with fundamentals of IP routing, routing protocols, and IP networks.

-Able to set up, configure and program CISCO Routers and switches, to include configuring IOS on routers, and VPN.

- Familiar with all aspects of CISCO IOS.

- Able to design, setup, configure and maintain IP networks, including subnetting, and virtual LAN setup.

- High proficiency with network firewalls - configuring, establishing rulesets, maintaining.

- Familiarity with secure network implementation, e.g. Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)

- Familiarity with Windows and UNIX/Solaris platform operations

- Familiarity with GCCS-J operations and administration

- Familiarity with project planning, scheduling and execution

- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and be eligible for a high level clearance.
