Senior Program Manager #08313

Moog’s Space and Defense Group is currently searching for a Senior Program Manager # 08313.Duties/Responsibilities:With support from the responsible engineer, the successful candidate will ensure that all contractual and technical obligations are met on assigned programs. The incumbent will serve as the primary point of contact with the customer and coordinate and manage all program activities. They must effectively manage a multi-functional team, accurately monitor and report program status in terms of cost, schedule and customer satisfaction, along with meeting program cost and delivery goals. The incumbent will also be responsible for successfully mitigating risk.Education/Experience:Bachelors degree in a technical field such as Engineering, and a minimum of seven years of related work experience.Skills/Knowledge:Well organized and proactive. Excellent people skills including the ability to generate consensus, effective listening skills and the ability to achieve results through others while gaining the respect of the team.  Must be a team player with proven leadership skills. Strong technical understanding and the ability to effectively communicate technical issues. Citizenship Requirements:Due to U.S. Government and Military contracts, candidates must be either a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
