For additional information, please visit www.amo-inc.com.  We are looking for a talented Sr. Project Engineer to join our Santa Ana Headquarters Research and Development team. Work with Ophthalmic Equipment Engineering staff in the design and development of Ophthalmic surgical equipment.  Develops, documents analog and digital circuitry for embedded microprocessor electromechanical system to meet timeline and cost budget. Design/development of printed circuit boards by working with CAD designers and printed circuit board suppliers to produce quality PCB designs.  Develop and execute test plans and protocols to validated the design requirement are met in the subsystem and system level. Work with Operations Engineering and contract manufacturers to develop cost effective manufacturing and test tools and procedures. Supports sustaining engineering in failure investigation reported from the field and manufacturing. Technical Lead for product enhancement/extension projects. Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering plus a minimum 5 years of design of electronics circuits/system in product development and leading development projects.
