Senior Sales Engineer
SALES ENGINEER

We are growing as a leader in the design and manufacture of proprietary electromechanical and digital temperature control solutions and sophisticated aerospace systems.
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Level Sales Engineer
Specific responsibilities of this Seattle based position include daily account and relationship management at Boeing, coordination of responses to requests for proposals and quotations, and support for questions involving PECO products.
¨ Develop sales contacts, follow-up on leads, and make cold calls on potential customers.
¨ Develop and deliver professional sales presentations that focus on the benefits of PECO products and speak directly to customer needs.
¨ Provide input and participate in the marketing, planning and technical development of products and services.
¨ Research, develop and maintain long and short range sales plans.
¨ Maintain an up to date working knowledge of newly developing technologies and manufacturing practices.
¨ Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of trends relative to PECO’s markets including competition, changes in business climate, emerging needs, and changes in customer business strategy.
Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or engineering and a minimum of eight years of increasing responsibility in sales; experience in the aerospace industry is essential. Proven success in key account and relationship management is required and a current relationship with Boeing is a strong plus. Successful candidates will also show an ability to interpret and explain technical data; an ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel; and have strong presentation and computer skills with proficiency in all MS Office applications.
Travel is required to meet with customers, visit application sites, supplier facilities, and attend trade shows and industry related conferences.
